Data Analyst
Overview Skipton International is a dynamic, locally run Bank. As part of our ongoing growth, we are adding a new role of Data Analyst.
The Data Analyst will take an active lead in data analytics within the business, to drive data-driven and effective decision making.
It will be a hands-on role, with a focus on owning and developing data models, as well as analyzing outputs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst who is interested in developing their skillset in an MI driven business.
Required Skills - Strong commercial acumen
- Database modeling skills, particularly based on Microsoft SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.
- Understanding and knowledge of T-SQL Data queries including aggregation techniques
- Highly accurate and analytical approach
- Data science, modeling or MI related qualifications or training.
Key Responsibilities - Work with teams across the business to identify key business data, where its held and how it can be used to add business value.
- Assist with analysing and identifying potential solutions which will meet business requirements
- Own and progress the building of data models, enhancement of data presentation and MI tools.
- Liaise with third party providers and consultants as required.
