Yes, Skipton's International instructions are clear and straight forward. The confirmation followed promptly as well as the certificate of reinvestment and statement of interest accrued . I did not encounter any difficulties. I cannot add any recommendations and I am fully satisfied with their procedures.

I've been a Skipton customer for many years and feel they are usually very helpful and understanding.While their interest rates are not always the highest they are generally good and the staff very friendly and reliable.
My "average" rating would normally be higher but I was disappointed recently that Skipton had converted a matured bond of my wife's , to a new fixed rate bond @1.5% when only a week of so later they were offering on their website, for virtually the same 1 yr time period, a fixed rate of 2%. I appreciate that this was in response to a rate change for pound sterling, however I was dissapointed Skipton were unwilling to change her new 1.5% bond which had automatically been assigned, to the better rate at a time during the pandemic when postal advice from Skipton had been significantly delayed in reaching us, limiting our being able to act on it. I felt for the first time in my perhaps 20 yr relationship with Skipton this was perhaps an overly rigid and unfair way to deal with loyal customers.

Thank you for your feedback, which I have had investigated. I can confirm that your annual statement was dispatched on the day after maturity as normal. There have been delays experienced with the global postal system and these delays vary by location, occasionally substantial delays have been experienced, but thankfully most delays have been minor. Such delays are clearly outside the control of Skipton. To ensure that you receive timely communications I would recommend using Skipton International Online, which avoids the postal system for the receipt of statements or for selecting options on product maturity. In my opinion Skipton International are excellent. The products are good and the customer service is second to none. Whenever I have telephoned Skipton my enquiry has been dealt with in a helpful, professional and efficient manner. I cannot fault anything and would definitely recommend Skipton International.
