Felt there was a lot of security levels but understand that is in my interest. It was delightful to speak to ahuman beings who made you feel valued.
Look forward to opening more accounts with you in the future. In particular I have a tenants deposit that needs to be saved for 4 years.

The staff were fantastic. Very open and friendly, as well as very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did they answer all my questions patiently and clearly, they also explained other information I'd not known about that was relevant to me because they'd gotten to know me as a customer and genuinely wanted to help me make the best decisions for me.
Plus it's extremely nice being able to deal with a local branch as decisions can be made within the team without having to go back and forwards to the UK.
Product Review:
The mortgage rates are higher than other providers, but knowing it'll be done locally is a positive. I just don't know if it outweighs the cost as it's quite a big difference.
The savings accounts give a lot of options though, you really can pick the best one to suit you!

We used Skipton for our expat mortgage. They have been consistently professional and courteous with rapid responses to enquiries. They are always very helpful. We mostly liased with Tom Pattimore and he has really gone above and beyond. Highly recommend.

I didn't really have anything to do with Skipton, everything was organised through solicitors and brokers so I don't feel I can give any accurate feedback of Skipton as I never had any direct contact with anyone from them as a company. Emails directly from Skipton were always automated except for one querying my application summary.
I'm a little annoyed that this "reminder" to review Skipton has been sent a second time as I chose not to write this review initially, but feel like I must respond since this second automated email has come through.
