Not much choice in the offshore fixed deposit market these days so cannot make a real comparison of products. This product rated 4 stars simply because when looking for a fixed deposit you always want higher returns than are on offer, no reflection on Skipton.

Skipton have always been a pleasure to deal with, the staff are helpful and courteous, the only reason I did not give 5 was because I did not receive notification in advance that the bond was matureing. But I understand the difficult time we are all going through.

Disappointed with the interest rate drops... and now to be locked in at a lower rate on a 180 day account when a better rate came on a 120 day account. I think it should be permissible to switch down as well as up in circumstances and times such as these
