The correspondence was very clear and precise and the terms were clearly laid out.
The person respondent to my queries promptly and with clarity.
The person in charge of my application proactively extended my mortgage offer before it was about to expire due to submission problems from the developer. Thus averting problems.
The post mortgage person also handled my queries on over payments very clearly with clear guidance on how to manage and move forward.
Product Review:
I would have preferred a mortgage which had reduction of principal but the bank only offered only interest payments.

Thank you for your feedback, which I have had investigated.I am sorry you were required to send in information multiple times. It would appear that the mortgage broker used did not include all the information to a satisfactorily standard required to underwrite your application. Skipton is very clear on requirements and unfortunately it took two requests to finally receive the whole information. If the application had been satisfactorily packaged in the first place by your broker it would have avoided the costs you mentioned and also delays for both yourself and Skipton. If you require a further mortgage in the future I would recommend contacting Skipton directly on +44 (0) 1481 730730 and talk to one of our mortgage professionals.
