Skipton needs to introduce some level of online access. Account Viewing at the very least even if transfers are not possible, other than that, happy so far (new customer)

Please be advised that Skipton International is currently developing a new banking platform that will facilitate online access for customers. We are expecting to launch the new platform towards the end of the year and will write to customers nearer the time with details.

Customer Service Review:
Skipton's mortgage product was exactky what I wanted and the Skipton team themselves were great and responsive. However, their firm of solicitors used for the mortgage conveyancing were not contactable and totally non-responsive and slow and in the end I had to call Skipton in to get the process completed which then was done in a day!

I am pleased that Skipton International provided you good service, but sorry to hear our solicitors were considered non-responsive and slow. Skipton International's Director of Credit has investigated this matter and Conveyancing Direct state that they completed the conveyance in under a week once full documentation was received from the other solicitor. We are looking to make improvements in communications with applicants which I hope will mitigate such issues in the future.

We liked the investment product and the member of staff who served us was very efficient, as was the account opening process.
However, at no point did the member of staff introduce herself; she was very polite, but did not get up as we left.
Training is required in dealing with customers.

The service I have received in opening two fixed rate bonds has simply been first class and faultless. The advisor has been clear, has communicated well and has done what she said she would. Why can't all people in similar jobs be like Jess Bridle? She did the same for my wife by the way too. Give her a raise before she gets head-hunted!

Time to open the a/c was longer than I'd hoped because so much additional information was needed, and had to be verified. A sign of the times, I guess, but frustrating nevertheless. However, it's all part of the compliance requirements, I know, and in reality didn't take over long. It's just that the requirements are so onerous.

Unfortunately I missed out on same rate of return but for one year rather than three, because I didn't have the funds available a couple of weeks earlier.
