Skipton are helpful, respond promptly and really help to manage my money in the best way

very simple and straight forwad to deal with.

They are efficient and well serving the needs of me. The rate of interest offered is also competitive.

Fasten response overall. But the documents didn’t look into details and cause of simple currency exchange and pending for a week.

Nathan was very helpful when dealing with our mortgage and always made himself available and very good at responding to any worries or questions i may have had. Our mortgage was processed quickly and efficiently. Also friendly staff at reception whenever we came in so overall experience was fantastic. We will definitely look at re mortgaging with Skipton again when our fixed term is done.

Great lender

Everyone we spoke to was really nice but the process of mortgage and remortgage is painful. When we took the mortgage out a few years ago, and more recently the remortgage no-one tells you when you haven’t done what you need to do. If you are not familiar with the process you will absolutely miss steps along the way and no one tells you! And don’t get me started on the secure customer portal. I’d never logged in before and didn’t have a login. Yet they thought it was a good idea to send my password to the portal that I couldn’t log in to. It’s just really unnecessarily frustrating!

The whole process has been smooth and quite easy to navigate through. The online portal for the convenyancer is excellent. Easy to transfer and share documents. I am pleased with the service so far!!

I approached them for a mortgage & with my circumstances, Nathan in Guernsey office & Lisa Bourgaize were very helpful & nothing was too much for them to guide me through the process. You have 2 great staff members there!!

Paul Hyde was the person dealing with my mortage. We had never gone through this process on which I was really anxious about. He is an exellent professional, nothing seemed to be a bother, he always responded my emails promply looking back, he made the whole process so smooth. We always felt welcomed and his level of expertice put us at easy. We are really gratefull and there are not enough words to Thank enough for the opportunity given to make our dream come true.

We were impressed by the level of customer service from the outset and this continued throughout the process as we worked to obtain a remortgage - this is important when you are living abroad as you have to everything remotely.

They dealt with my query very quickly but we are disappointed to have to ask for our account to be closed and a new one opened simply to obtain the increased interset raet on exactly the same type of account.
