The lack of contact, the dashboard, tells you is needed but does not indicate how long any takes to process. The solicitor appointed, lack experience or was lazy at best, as a result, the official offer was extended on the 6th April, a month later on the 10th May I have not been given any indication when the mortgage will settle.

Customer Service Review:
Skipton's broker, Capricorn asked for 1.5K as their brokerage fee when customer (me) engaged Capricorn. However, Capricorn did not disclose it is getting 2.9K from Skipton for arranging. And despite customer complaining their service is not brilliant, they refuse to give discount and lack of disclosure in securing brokerage fees from both sides. There's ample room for improvement by the broker.

However, Skipton looks to be transparent and includes such fees on our offer letter documentation, which is where I assume you ascertained Skipton's payment. We will, of course, pass on your concerns to the broker concerned. I would be very interested in understanding in receiving rating for Skipton's service itself. The rep was aware of my earlier correspondence and able to talk to me about my options having missed the deadline to invest further in my account. I agreed to her suggestion and call ended.
Product Review:
I was disappointed when I failed to make a successful bank transfer from my UK bank to Skipton International within the small window of opportunity given. I now have 2 accounts which I'd like to amalgamate at the earliest possible moment and not sure how I will find out when that will be, so somewhat frustrated with the difficulty in keeping track.

Excellent response to email, telephone and online contact service. Good personal service from friendly well informed personnel who are able to use initiative when response is required outside normal perameters.

Savings and term deposit rates are reasonable for UK current market, although higher rates would obviously be preferred with higher inflation hitting across the world.
