Over the course of telephone calls I made I found each person I spoke to be professional and knowledgeable when answering my questions and at the same time both patient and easy to talk to. I appreciated this very much. I also very much appreciated being able to speak to a person without the need to answer a list of automated questions. I would use Skipton International again, and because of this experience, contact Skipton U.K. when I return to the U.K. should I want to open a building society account. I would recommend Skipton International.

I was disapointed that the recieving bank took commission such that funds were under the minimum amount. Although I had expected to pay funds to send the money, there was no mention of paying funds aT Skipton's end. This required more payments to cover the cost of the funds which although not big, caused my deposit to be less than the minimum amount to eran interest

I look for good rates of interest when investing my sterling capital. At this time, I have obtained locally (Isle of man) 4.5% and also 4.95% for a one year fixed rate bond and, bearing in mind the upper limit of Banking Compensation schemes, I reinvested in a one year fixed rate bond with Skipton International @ 4.1% via email and due to various staff members help found the process a pleasant one.
