We have been with Skipton for decades, and turn over our various bonds twice a year. I renew by phone-call. Yet its still takes 3 or is it 4 Skipton letters to carry out this very simple procedure. Why?

Unlike most of the banks that I deal with they answered the phone promptly, immediately dealt with my re-investment and quickly confirmed this in writing.

Paul, Lorraine and the Jersey team were truly committed to helping us secure our dream home. They were passionate about what they do, genuinely interested in us people and made quite a stressful time so much better. There were a few ups and downs, but maybe uniquely, Skipton owned their part in the process and ironed out kinks admirably.

Consistently great rates and LTV. There was an issue where the drawdown date got lost somewhere in communication so our DD was cancelled prematurely. Rather than quibbling over details, you identified the error, apologised and rectified things straight away. Great service.

The Management and Staff are always friendly and helpful. We have been with this Company, long before it became Skipton, and the service through these many years has been first class. Yes, just occasionally things do go wrong, but thy are always investigated with speed and fully corrected.

Times are very difficult for savers, and especially those who rely on their Interest income to supplement our pensions. We would have preferred a monthly interest account, but that was not available.
