Professional and helpful but I felt amount of documentation required was excessive.

Originally was told that it was fixed rate for 3 years, that I could payback 10% a year and that the penalty scaled, only to find out that it was variable, could not pay anything back and penalty was 3% throughout the term.

Savings Products have recently been dire everywhere. Skipton short term rates are competitive in the marketplace. But recent long term rates where Skipton in past years always had very competitive products are now very low.

Second mortgage taken with SI as the first business dealings were trouble free and efficient. Only areas for consideration would be preferential rates for returning customers and more options on business partnerships when dealing with regional agencies.

took 16 weeks from start to finish... for an equity release on property i already owned... and you were lending less than 50% of property value.... zero risk, but still 4 months ... !!!!! go figure.... first two sales people didn't pass on all the info supplied.... not sure if they been reprimanded. Kelly Gaudion stepped in and saved the day for Skipton... proactive and respectful
