Mostly good... but all communication had been with my wife and her name was first on the aplicatuon so why were only her (male) partner's details sent to the conveyancer? Is Skipton International really that sexist?
Also a few hassles with wanting things in formats that weren't specified upfront... a few more details could have saved a lot of hassle.

As a first time buyer I was treated so well and talked through all options available with Skipton. On a personal level Lucy Munroe was incredible from start to finish from helping me with my application to following up with lawyers to ensure all was in order for completion

I chose skipton as the product options were more varied than other providers. Equally the application fee waiver offer really helped towards the property purchase and as a first time buyer this was so attractive

Our application was dealt with in a polite, professional and extremely efficient manner. We were kept informed of any developments at every step along the way and whilst applying for a mortgage can be quite stressful, my wife and I felt the complete opposite!

I already have a mortgage with Skipton yet I had to provide Proof of Identity as though I were a new customer- seems strange.
On top of that I had to produce a lot of evidence as to how I got the money which almost made me go elosewhere.

I find Skipton so easy to deal with. I dealt with Paul & he is efficient & approachable.
When things were going wrong with my house sale, he offered practical solutions & ensured everything stayed on track (which was some challenge when others were dragging their heels)
It would be fair to say that he definitely made my life easier, listened when I had stressful moments & stayed calm & focused throughout.
He just seemed to coordinate everything & kept me in the loop.
Things were very hectic when my original purchase went through so I never properly thanked him - but I really appreciated all his hard work he definitely was instrumental in making everything happen

But disappointed there is no online account service.
Strikes me as a little old fashioned to be reliant on post especially to countries where post is unreliable.

Thank you for your feedback.I agree we need an online channel for our customers and we are working on this at present. It is our largest and most expensive project to date and has taken longer than we had initially expected, but we are ensuring the online channel is robust before we launch. At present we expect to commence writing to customers from early in the new year to ask whether they would like online access with the roll out across all customers taking a few weeks.
