It was a very disappointing service were your lawyers caused a delay in completion by not doing their work properly, and caused me additional expenses travelling from Dubai.

Thank you for feedback, which I have had investigated, including by our lawyers Conveyancing Direct (CD).
I am sorry that you had a poor experience in reaching completion and can provide the following background.
CD were instructed on 8/2/18 and the same day emailed your lawyers requesting documentation and confirmations. I have had sight of this email and can confirm it was very clear. CD use a workflow system that tracks communications automatically, so providing a record of delays. Despite CD chasing numerous times your lawyers were late in responding, sometimes providing partial or out of date information and requested CD contact the seller's solicitors directly. The record of communications is two pages in length and shows your lawyer finally fully completing the information on 6/4/18 and the mortgage completed on 9/4/18.
CD did not cause delays, but rather their rapid turn around time was a positive to reach completion.
