We are happy with our dealings with Skipton and their services.
However we would prefer that ytou could send quarterly statements of accounts as well as payment and receipts nnotification
We would recomend Skipton services to other parties

Skipton were incredible, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Shane Konken helped me through the initial application process and kept me informed of progress every step of the way. The application was processed quickly and the decision to lend communicated to me taking a lot of the stress away. Can't thank the team in Guernsey enough for all of their help

Overall - good.
We got the mortgage loan we were hoping for but had to jump through far too many hoops and much of the documentation being asked for was doubling up on what had already been provided.

Customer Service Review:
I am a relatively new customer with Skipton International with a one year fix term saving bond account that just matured. I recently requested an interest receipt, for tax reporting purposes, and received not one but two responses from Skipton staff. This is a good sign that this bank may have a good customer service focus. We will see if this holds true for the future.

First - be more careful sending salary details to contacts for validation. While validating my ID you shared my confidential salary details with the office..didn't really appreciate that.
Constant requests for the same info - without clarifying what you need or what was missing the first time. In future send a template of what specific wording you need in letters of verification rather than forcing me to ask our HR for various versions of the same thing.
Also - when you hand over to the conveyancing service, just an idea - hand over the relevant details and documents as well. i don't appreciate being asked for all the same documents again by the conveyancer, that I had already sent to Skipton.
And finally its a concern when it took me to suggest maybe they contact you for the details instead of chasing me.

Please be assured that we do not share salary information with third parties. In your case we had cause to return solely to the individual that you had provide your original salary verification. We had previously confirmed this with you and sought your confirmation of the email address to use for this purpose.
We are constantly improving the service we provide and to this end have established a process to avoid duplicated requests for information. As you will appreciate, lawyers are independent and will on occasion request documents for their own internal compliance purposes, this is unavoidable.

Skipton's service was excellent. Shane could not have done any more to help with our mtge. and we are very grateful. I have already recommended Skipton to my friends.

Customer Advisor helped in moving funds to an account paying a higher rate of interest with no loss in flexibility.
Also advised that for a notice account we could give notice but do not have to take up the option on the given date.
Product Review:
Market leading rates but still disappointing.
