Customer Service Review:
The service that my partner an I received from Skipton Jersey and specifically the consideration and client focus provided by Richard was first class. Rarely as a consumer in the current marketplace do I feel that a service provider 'goes the extra mile' but in this case the service provided was simply light years beyond expectations. A true credit to the industry and certainly to Skipton as a financial services provider. It would require a lapse of reason for me not to consider Skipton for future dealings.
Product Review:
Whilst it is difficult to be emotive about mortgages, the service provided was excellent and the offering was certainly acceptable to us. I believe that we found the best deal available, through the advice that was tendered by our agent.

My partner and i have recently purchased a property, Skipton were very efficient and quick at processing the application and we managed to borrow a lot more than we originally thought.

In some ways they were helpful but in other ways, the communication was slow at times especially in responding to questions. But when things progressed, I found the service highly supportive - particularly from the stage of a mortgage offer onwards.

From the moment I rang the service was very professional
We dealt with Paul Hyde in your Jersey branch and he was fantastic always kept me informed and was an absolute pleasure to deal with
I would highly recommend Skipton and definitely use them again in the future

More communication .....we handed in our signed loan offer in person at reception however we later learnt it had been sat on a desk for 2 weeks

I can assure you that no offer letter or other communication would ever be left on a desk, even overnight, as we operate a strict clear desk policy to maintain the security of customer data. We understand that delays resulted from an initial lack of Advocate to represent you, a legal requirement that your mortgage broker should have advised early in the process.
