I have found staff dealing with my requests by Telephone banking have been helpful. However, I am looking forward to Internet banking becoming available.
I have moved from a major offshore building society that is closing and I chose Skipton because it offers reasonable interest rates in the current climate. However, the Access account I selected closed before I had even deposited money into it! Please don't keep shifting goal posts for customers.

I am pleased that our telephone team were helpful. We are planning to start rolling out our online service from the end of the year. At times we have to adjust our rates, both downwards and upwards, to maintain a competitive position and hence rates may unfortunately change.

Excellent service, very helpful and informative staff patiently answered all my questions until I was happy I had selected the right product, very fast turnaround times (even though Skiptons solicitors Conveyancing Direct may take up to 5 days to respond), and willing to lend to self-employed expats looking for buy-to-let mortgages in the UK for an assigned property - thank you!

Lorraine McLean who organised my mortgage application was outstanding. She knew exactly what she was doing, her experience shone through and she kept me informed throughout. She is a real asset to your company.
The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because my solicitors gave me feedback that your lawyers were a bit slow to respond at times which slowed down the completion (however, I have no evidence of this..!)
I would fully recommend you to friends, family & colleagues. Thank you.

I would rather not have been fixed into a rate for 3 years but you were the best option based on my salary and location.
I would look to take out futher BTLs and/or residential mortgages with you in the future because of your understanding of the expat market and the great service that I received.

I have also had your concerns investigated with Conveyancing Direct. Their case management system indicate your solicitors required chasing several times to forward the required information and that authority to exchange was provided by Conveyancing Direct the same day that the last piece of information was received. In the circumstances Conveyancing Direct provided a timely and effective service.

They combined professional expertise with a friendly attitude. I have faith in them as I received a very positive letter. They are easily accessible by phone and very helpful. Indeed if I can find the time this summer I might fly out to Guernsey.
I was so disappointed that the Nationwide closed their International Accountstudents but feel I have gone to a better place. I have a large sum at another financial institution that I am looking to rehouse.
