Very lax customer service still waiting conformation details ten days later

I have had your issue investigated and can confirm that a cheque was received on the afternoon of Friday 24 March and opening confirmations were despatched on 27 March. I am concerned these have not been received by you. At your convenience please call 730730 and ask for Ellie Brush to confirm address details, etc., and we will then resend the confirmations.

Customer Service Review:
From first contact, Skipton International team provided almost instant responses to eligibility questions, and showed a degree of common sense in their underwriting that took our personal circumstances into account.
Timescales were respected and delivered to with the exception of the conveyancing process which took two weeks longer than we'd been indicated.
The only challenge was getting documentation to Skipton. Fedex, UPS etc couldn't provide service to Guernsey, and most of the application documentation was required in hard copy. The more of this that could be submitted electronically would really complete the service.
Product Review:
Standard expat mortgage, however 50 bps above other competitors (albeit these other competitors have more rigid eligibility requirements). Excellent early repayment allowances, and simple ability to blend repayment with interest only.

A phone call to Skipton is always answered promptly and the operators are friendly and helpful. Your operators take care of security properly without making a drama and are always knowledgeable and intelligent in their response.

Interest rates still dropping but maybe that will change one day soon. In the meantime do the best we can.

Customer Service Review:
I thought Skipton International was fantastic - their decisions are fast, they are easy to contact and the application process was very easy. Their solicitors on the other hand made the process from application being received to exchange date a nightmare. It took three months longer than expected for me to complete, documents they provided for my signature were filled with typos and they asked for information that I had already submitted in my application.

The first time I saw the advert for a better rate of interest was in the Gsy Press IF I had not bought it I would not have known..... perhaps a note could be sent out to customers who already have investments...... or a phone call, would be cheaper..... just a thought

Very courteous, polite and friendly. I spoke to many members of the team and all were helpful and obliging regardless of how insignificant my queries were. Any problems I had were dealt with immediately! 10/10

Compared to similar products it was in my top 3. My only criticism would be the failure to notify me of new products when they become available.

Products offered good and better than other banks.thankyou. was worried about giving my whole password on phone instead of just certain letters as other banks do. Just because of all the hacking stories and i am not very computer literate
