All the staff are friendly and attentive and provide any information I want. However the fact that I still cannot see my accounts on-line and open/close accounts on-line is frustrating and very outdated.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree that not having an online channel is old fashioned and is frustrating. The development of Skipton International Online has taken longer than anticipated. Ensuring we have a secure, reliable platform has been our primary objective and we have hence completed many rounds of testing. The customer service over the telephone was excellent, but you need an internet service so I can view and make changes as I wish.
Secondly savings were parked in a relatively low interest account - I assume that on maturity of a bond this occurred. There were better alternatives available but I was not informed.

I recently received two separate letters informing me of my account details to date. Unfortunately, the statement for one account gave a balance that was confusing to understand and I had to phone Skipton International to gain a clear understanding.
The second letter gives an account number I do not recognize and hence the message/content is equally confusing.

Thank you for your feedback which I have had investigated. When a bond matures Skipton sends a closing statement and if the bond rolls over to a new product a deposit certificate is sent for the new account (which has a new number) 14 days after opening. On review we agree the text of these documents should be improved to make them clearer and we will instigate improvements accordingly. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. L'ultimo volta che ho parlato con un membro della banca stato estramemente gentile e chiaro. Però avrei dovuto essere informato prima che il mio denaro era in hold per in periodo di tempo prima di essere investito invece ho ricevuto una comunicazione vie lettere dicendo semplicemente che il mio conto era chiuso ....senza dire dov'era finito la somma!. Forse avrei potuto evitare la chiamata!
