I called recently with a question about my account.The customer service representative was courteous, knowledgeable and helped me with my question very efficiently.He also recommended a new savings account for me which had the same conditions as the savings account I currently had with them but had a higher interest rate. Within a few days I received confirmation that my new account was opened and my balance transferred.
I am hoping that their on line account info will be up and running soon.

Have communicated with Skipton by phone probably 20 to 30 times. 1st time with this paricular rep., who was the least friendly and least cooperative I gave dealt with

I sent an email, via secure messaging, requesting that two letters showing the interest earned on my saving accounts that matured in 2018 and 2019 be sent to me so that I could present them to the tax authorities. This was over four days ago and I have not had a response to date, even though the messaging system acknowledged that the message and informed me that someone would contact me.

Interest rates are very low at the moment, probably can’t be bettered elsewhere unless you are prepared to take investments linked to risk.

They are efficient and friendly. The savings rates are pretty competitive, but that is not saying much as most banks now have no interest in providing offshore accounts, and their rates are totally pathetic. Will be much more useful when the online servie (finally) appears!
